TROPICALASER ALBERTA – TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to Tropicalaser Alberta. By booking, purchasing, or receiving services at our clinic, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

Tropicalaser Alberta (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a medical aesthetics clinic providing non-surgical cosmetic treatments, laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and related services in accordance with applicable health regulations in Alberta, Canada.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our services and your interactions with our clinic, website, and staff.

2. ELIGIBILITY

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or have parental/legal guardian consent if under 18.
  • You are legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
  • You will provide accurate, current, and complete information during your consultation.

3. SERVICES & MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

Tropicalaser Alberta offers cosmetic and aesthetic services including but not limited to:

  • Laser hair removal
  • Skin tightening
  • Body contouring
  • Acne treatments
  • Skin resurfacing
  • Injectables (Botox, dermal fillers)

Medical Disclaimer:

Our treatments are not a substitute for medical care. You understand and agree that:

  • Services are elective and cosmetic.
  • Results vary from person to person and are not guaranteed.
  • You must disclose all relevant medical history and conditions during your consultation.

Informed Consent is required for all treatments. You may be asked to complete and sign additional forms before receiving services.

4. CONSULTATIONS & TREATMENT PLANS

You may be required to attend a consultation prior to your first treatment. Based on your medical history and goals, we will recommend a treatment plan. You are under no obligation to proceed, and we reserve the right to refuse treatment if it is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

5. PAYMENTS & FEES

  • All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice.
  • Payment is due in full at the time of service, unless a payment plan is agreed upon in advance.
  • We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and e-transfer.
  • Prepaid packages are non-transferable and may have an expiry date (usually 12 months unless otherwise specified).

6. CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY

To respect all clients’ time:

  • We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or appointment changes.
  • Late cancellations (under 24 hours) may be subject to a fee (typically $50 or the cost of the session if prepaid).
  • No-shows will be charged the full amount of the scheduled service or have one session deducted from their package.

7. REFUND POLICY

  • All service sales are final. Due to the personalized nature of our treatments, no refunds will be provided for completed services or unused package sessions.

8. PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of Alberta.

  • Information collected during consultations and treatments is used solely for providing you with safe and effective care.
  • We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law.

9. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to:

  • Arrive on time for appointments.
  • Follow all pre- and post-treatment care instructions.
  • Disclose all medications, health conditions, and recent procedures that may affect your treatment.
  • Treat our staff and other clients with respect.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is disruptive, disrespectful, or non-compliant with these Terms.

10. RISKS & LIABILITY WAIVER

You acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with cosmetic and laser treatments. While rare, potential side effects include redness, swelling, pigmentation changes, allergic reactions, or burns.
By accepting treatment, you agree to:

  • Release Tropicalaser Alberta, its staff, and practitioners from any liability arising from the services rendered, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on our website, branding, images, treatment protocols, and materials are the property of Tropicalaser Alberta and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our express written permission.

12. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta.

13. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The most recent version will always be posted on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
